Kalika

Kalika, is a dimension of life where creation and destructions happen in the same breath. This is a depiction of Kali where she dances in fire demanding we drop our illusions. Lately, I have been drawn to Kali a lot and this Navratri she manifested on my canvas in this form where I experienced her as a reminder to sit with my shadows instead of running away and letting Maa show me where I still hold on to fear, illusions and old stories. So, if for you Kali is the raw, fierce yet compassionate form of energy this piece will speak to you differently.
